Demand Abolition’s CEASE Network (Cities Empowered Against Sexual Exploitation) was a collaboration of twelve pioneering cities — each committed to ending the demand for sexual exploitation within prostitution.

No buyers, no business.

CEASE Network’s holistic approach involved people from multiple sectors of the local community, including survivor leaders, law enforcement professionals, civil society, and policymakers. After six years of experimentation, our direct oversight has ended. Now the cities are collaborating informally as they implement their tactics to combat demand for illegal sex.
